Tuscany

Tuscany is the home of the Sangiovese grape, which gives us wines including Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino. It is also the home of the famous "Super Tuscan" blends, first made by industry rebels using non-Sangiovese grapes and thus falling outside of the pre-existing classification system — and now commanding high price tags commensurate with their renown and quality.
