Organic

Organic wine is a difficult category to streamline, with oftentimes confusing distinctions. Some wine is made organically at every step of the process (including using organic yeast and not adding sulfites). Some wine is made using organically-grown grapes. Additionally, every winemaking country has its own standardization for certifying organic wine, and some winemakers that farm with organic practices will not receive an organic stamp on their wines.
