Ridge Vineyards, Grenache Blanc, Paso Robles, California 2024

Golden straw in color with aromas of pear, honeysuckle, pineapple, candied lime, tangerine, and wet stone. A bright and lively entry with a medium body layered with minerality and fresh natural acidity. The finish is long and satisfying.

Ridge Vineyards first produced a small amount of Grenache Blanc from the Adelaida vineyard in 2018. Impressed with the balance of minerality, firm acidity, and subtle stone fruit, they now source grenache blanc, picpoul and roussanne from three vineyards on the west side of Paso Robles. After whole cluster pressing, the wine ages for eight months in five year old barrels and is bottled early to preserve freshness.
