Paul Achs, Chardonnay, Burgenland, Austria 2021

The Paul Achs Chardonnay has a distinctively mineral character coupled with lemon and orange zest and chalky undertones. Elegantly structured with juicy acidity, silky texture, and no noticeable flavor of wood.

Chardonnay grown in the Burgenland’s relatively warm climate gives enough body and texture to the wine to easily complement grilled fish, starches such as polenta or risotto, and dishes sauced with butter or cream.

The winery in Gols is located 60 km southeast of Vienna, near the Hungarian border in the midst of an impressive and beautiful natural paradise: Northern Burgenland. The locations of the vineyards are in and around Gols.

Manual harvest, 80% fermented and stored in steel tanks and 20% in large wooden barrels.
