Richaven vineyard, located at Merry Edwards’s home in the Sebastopol Hills, was planted in 2015 and is just around the corner from the Meredith Estate vineyard. Cool afternoon breezes and morning fog allow long hang time and full development of flavors and aromatics.

The Richaven Pinot Noir illustrates this with its expressive nose, full of red cherries and floral tones of hibiscus and rose, along with notes of graphite, wood shavings and chocolate-covered cherries. Bright red fruit on the mouthwatering entry features a juicy core of acidity wrapped in firm tannins, suggesting a long life ahead. Warm orange spice lingers on the finish.
