Certified Organic. 40% Malvazija Istriana, 20% Moscato, 20% Pinot Grigio, 20% Sauvignon Blanc.

The Amfora bottling is the most complex of what is produced at Gordia; it has an intensely long élevage and is a reference to the Friulian wine tradition, as well as the wide range of varieties that flourish on these ocean marl soils abutting the Adriatic.

120 days of maceration, three times daily punchdown during ferment; fermentation split between qvevri and neutral barrique. The wine was then aged in neutral barriques for two years before bottling. Unfined, unfiltered, 30mg/l SO2 added only before bottling.

A rare bird, with copper color, depth of aroma, and freshness to balance out the dried tropical fruits and spice box qualities that are the powerful hallmarks of this wine. Keep open for several days to see it reach its full potential.
