Famille Vincent produces a range of wines made with the same care and expertise as those made at the Vincent’s historic domaine, Château Fuissé. Made primarily from grapes sourced from Mâconnais vineyards in the South of Burgundy that are owned by members of the Vincent family, these wines are of extremely high quality and represent remarkable value. Famille Vincent wines are both lovely and approachable wines for immediate consumption and a great introduction to the Château Fuissé range of acclaimed wines.
The Famille Vincent Mâcon-Villages is a blend from different vineyards in the South of Mâconnais, close to the vineyards of Saint-Véran and Pouilly-Fuissé. The plots are predominantly situated on the mid-slopes where the richer soils from erosion mix with the limestones. These hills benefit from a perfect exposure towards the sun assuring optimal maturation conditions and good drainage. The result is an optimal “phenolic ripeness” that brings the yellow stone-fruit character in our wines, balanced by the mineral influence of the chalky soils, and natural freshness of the vintage.
