From a magnificently steep slope just below the perched medieval village of Le Castellet, with vines catching a full daily dose of both sun and wind, La Tourtine is where power and elegance seem to collide at Tempier. The result is classic Tempier: complex and spicy, with supple fruit followed by great structure and length. Tourtine is the classic soul of Bandol, with its full body, deep purple trim, and hints of plums, truffles, and ripe black cherries.
