Domaine Labet, Crémant du Jura Blanc "Les Turbulents" Jura, France 2022

The Labet's sparkling wines are rare, crafted only in vintages when the yields and acidities allow for their production. This release, the Blanc de Blancs is pure Chardonnay from calcareous terroirs from the Bajocien and Bathonian age of the Jurassic epoch. Raised 18+ months in stainless steel followed by 12+ months sur latte, it was disgorged in the summer of 2025 without dosage. Crisp green apple, toasted brioche, and crushed oyster shell, along with a fine, persistent mousse give this friendly bubbly a very engaging personality.
