100% Syrah. Practicing organic. 40+ year old vines. From the lieu-dit “Les Picheres”, less than 2km from the vines of Domaine Alain Graillot. Rocky gravel terroir. 30% whole cluster. Indigenous yeast. Aged in older barrels.

Cassis, smoke, crushed violets and baking spices on the nose. It's medium-bodied with velvety tannins. Elegant and succulent core of violets and fresh blueberries at the center with a flavorful finish.

This is an appealing, pretty, fruit-forward Crozes with aromas of violets, plump blackberry, plum, licorice, and chocolate followed by a tighter palate with grainy tannins and high acidity. An accomplished, balanced, and restrained wine.
