Ceritas, Chardonnay "Marena" West Sonoma Coast, California 2024

100% practicing organic Chardonnay sourced from selections from a collection of vineyards around the West Sonoma Coast. Hand-harvested. Fermented in neutral barrels to increase lees contact. All native yeast fermentation and complete native malolactic fermentation. Aged 12 months in neutral French oak and then consolidated to stainless steel for an additional 3-4 months.

Captivating perfume of white peach, pineapple, flowers, minerals and crushed rock. Densely packed and tight but already showing a creaminess to its well-delineated flavors of lemon curd, salt and chamomile. Edgy with a subtle, very dry, rising finish.

Ceritas Wines began its winemaking journey in 2005, founded by the visionary John Raytek and a dedicated team with an intimate knowledge of the northern California coastal regions. This collective of passionate individuals, deeply connected to areas like West Sonoma Coast, Santa Cruz Mountains, Moon Mountain, and Napa, considers their wines a true reflection of both the land and themselves.
