Mostly Bobal with 10% other varieties

These days Manchuela is probably the most interesting appellation in central Spain, led by Juan Antonio Ponce. Granitic soils give this Bobal a lot of finesse and elegance. Bright ruby color, more floral and ethereal than the other labels from Ponce. Strawberry, fine tannins and mineral sensation.

The climate is arid and dry with sea winds influence. Long hours of sunshine, low humidity balanced with fresh and wet winds from the Mediterranean ocean. A unique continental and Mediterranean fusion favor the organic farming.

Fermented with full clusters, indigenous yeast, in 4,500-liter oak vats. Aged in 600-liter barrel for 10 months.
