The "little" Syrah from the Monier Perréol estate is one of the most sought-after wines by lovers of this grape variety because the production is tiny and therefore the wines very rare . Jean Pierre and Philippe Monier , the two winegrowers of the estate, wanted to highlight the terroirs located outside the Saint Joseph appellation. They fully deserve to be valued more than they are today.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The IGP Collines Rhodaniennes cuvée is a superb Syrah with a profile very similar to Saint Joseph. This cuvée was vinified and aged in concrete vats in order to preserve all its freshness. It is a wine that can therefore be drunk much more easily when young while allowing you to discover the unique style of the Monier Perréol estate.

On the nose, the wine offers us a very wide aromatic palette which begins with beautiful notes of sweet spices, passing through a "larded" side and also a magnificent expression of black fruit specific to the style of the estate's wines.

The palate is structured, the body ample and the tannins racy. It is a wine full of fruit, pleasant from the opening which is both pure and fleshy. The spicy notes intertwine wonderfully with touches of very ripe black fruits for our greatest pleasure.
