Lieu Dit Chenin Blanc is sourced from Happy Canyon Vineyard and Jurassic Park Vineyard in Santa Ynez Valley, from sites ranging from 300ft to 1,100ft in elevation. The winery is practicing organic and uses sustainable farming practices. The soil is clay loam, limestone, and sand.

Lieu Dit Chenin Blanc undergoes native yeast fermentation in stainless steel tank and neutral oak barrel. It is aged in neutral oak during the winter and racked into stainless steel in the spring.

This winery is a partnership of longtime friends Eric Railsback and Justin Willett. The two met in Santa Barbara while Eric was finishing college and Justin was just beginning his career in winemaking. The two were among a small group of young winemakers and restaurateurs in Santa Barbara unified by a common interest in wine and all its mysteries.
