Icardi, Brachetto “Surì Vigin” Piedmont, Italy 2020

A slightly sparkling sweet wine made with Brachetto grapes. This wine is light bodied, very aromatic with distinctive notes of strawberries. It is refreshing and summery, with an intense, elegant bouquet with a hint of dried rose. The Brachetto Suri Vigin makes a perfect end of meal wine and it matches wonderfully with dry pastries, strawberries and berries.

The Icardi winery, located in Piedmont, is run by brother and sister Claudio and Mariagrazia. Claudio is an oenologist and a firm believer in organic methods and as such, some of their vineyards are grown following biodynamic techniques.
