CVNE, Tempranillo "Cune Crianza" Rioja, Spain 2020

85% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha and Mazuelo.

Youthful garnet in color with bluish hints at the rim. Good aromatic intensity reveals notes of red fruit and licorice in perfect balance with vanilla and toasted notes from the American Oak barrels. The wine is ripe with soft, silky tannins and has a pleasant aftertaste.

The vineyards for Cune Crianza are located in Rioja Alta, near the CVNE winery, which means that the grapes arrive intact at the winery to be processed in optimal conditions. Fermented in stainless steel; malolactic fermentation takes place in a tank. The wine is aged in American oak barrels for one year, during which it acquires its characteristic aromatic balance, fine character and overall expression.
