Piedmont

"Piemonte" — known primarily for quality reds, this is one of Italy and the world's most famous winemaking regions. Home to the Nebbiolo grape and its Barbaresco and Barolo wines, Piedmont also gives us Barbera, Dolcetto, and the whites Arneis and Erbaluce. Located at the foot of the western Alps, Piedmont has a climate ripe for winemaking.
