Gin

Gin is a unique liquor that starts its life as a neutral spirit (similar to vodka) and then becomes gin with the addition of juniper berries and other botanicals. The most common type is London Dry Gin, but other incarnations exist such as Old Tom or Navy Strength Gin. Each gin has its own distinct flavor profile of herbs and botanicals. You'll find gin in a Martini or Negroni, or simply mixed with tonic water and a squeeze of lime.
