The bourbon frontier has moved west to the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming where high-country winds flow through fields of wheat, corn, and barley. Where water from glaciers waits in deep limestone aquifers. And where this whiskey is made by hand, without shortcuts or compromise, to create a small batch bourbon with the right to be called Wyoming's whiskey.
A dark amber color, Wyoming Whiskey's Small Batch opens up with floral notes and a hint of vanilla bean and caramel pudding. On the palate, it's again floral, with brown baking spices and browned butter, vanilla crème, caramel, and a hint of cinnamon. The mouthfeel is light and smooth with vanilla bean and cinnamon spice filling the mouth cavity, and just a touch of mint. The finish is medium long, fading out with toffee, spice, and vanilla.
