THE STORY: The origins of the grapes used to produce this cuvée give the wine an ageing potential superior to what one would expect from the Burgundy appellation. It is a surprising wine, both in terms of its length and its structure.
THE VINTAGE: 17418 bottles, 721 bottles, 25 jeroboams have been produced in 2018.
LOCATION: This wine is a blend of grapes from the villages of Nuits-Saint-Georges and Chambolle-Musigny. One plot in Nuits-Saint-Georges covers one hectare with vines planted between 1978 and 1986 while the two-hectare plots in Chambolle-Musigny were planted between 1954 and 1962.
TERROIR: The vines for this very special blend grow on clay-silt soils.
