Great care in the cultivation of the vine, strict manual selection of the grapes in the vineyard and in the cellar with a sliding belt, very soft destemming and pressing, fermentation and maceration for about 30 days at a controlled temperature of 28-29 °C. Malolactic fermentation follows in December
It is a wine of persuasiveness and olfactory elegance, with hints of small fruits, natural balsamic notes, Mediterranean scrub, dry rose, which with aging recall goudron. Mouth of great balance, with fine and powerful tannins, long and complex finish.
A perfumed red, with licorice, rose, menthol and underbrush aromas leading to leather and tar. The fruit has faded to dried cherry, and there's sweetness to balance the dusty tannins on the finish. Fine length. Best from 2016 through 2032. 200 cases made.
