Catena, Cabernet Sauvignon Agrelo, Mendoza, Argentina 2019

Catena Cabernet Appellation Agrelo is a tribute to the unique quality achieved with Cabernet precisely in Agrelo in the Lujan de Cuyo area. With this wine Catena wants to show the diversity of the sub-regions of Mendoza. The vineyards with the 30-year-old vines are located about 900 metres above sea level and precisely the unique sunlight here at this height, the cool nights and the soil of sand, slate and clay gives a unique Cabernet Sauvignon.

The wine has an engaging bouquet of red, ripe berries with a touch of spice and black pepper, the wine is nicely structured with a nice balance, finishes soft and with great fullness.
