Jean-Max Roger, Sauvignon Blanc "Marnes et Caillottes" Sancerre, Loire Valley, France 2018

The typical pale gold colour of the Sauvignon Blanc in the Loire area is crystal clear. At first the bouquet will remind us why exactly we love Sancerre. The slight citrus fruit, some soft green and herbaceous notes are promptly followed by peach flower and rosewater. This complex but well balanced wine is only one of the Winery's superb wines.

Jean-Max Roger's family passion shows great character on all of their Sauvignon Blanc based wines. The Sancerre, the Pouilly-Fume and the Menetou Salon is the proof that Sauvignon Blanc can be versatile and very well constructed.
