A mind-blowingly inexpensive Barolo that offers all the hallmarks of the legendary village. Wonderfully structured, with firm tannins, wild black fruits, notes of cedar, cigar box and violets leading into a long, intense yet graceful finish.
Grapes are de-stemmed and undergo controlled-temperature fermentation on the skins for a total of around 14-16 days. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred into French and Slavonian oak for aging. Aged for 38 months total including at least 18 in the oak.
